I led the concept and execution of Origins, an interdisciplinary storytelling initiative bridging astronomy, anthropology and geology through a cinematic partnership between UW–Madison and South African collaborators. We developed a unified visual and narrative arc from complex research, bringing to life the Southern African Large Telescope, early hominid fossils and the scientists exploring our cosmic and human origins. The project earned a CASE Circle of Excellence Silver Award and the NASW Institutional Science Writing Award while driving broad engagement across academic and public channels.
